The Old Forest Cuff Bracelets
(3) Small/Medium
(3) Medium/Large
Price: $150 per bracelet
“Tom’s words laid bare the hearts of the trees and their thoughts, which were often dark and strange, filled with a hatred of things that go free upon the earth, gnawing, biting, breaking, hacking, burning: destroyers and usurpers. It was not called the Old Forest without reason, for it was indeed ancient, a survivor of vast forgotten woods; and in it there lived yet, ageing no quicker than the hills, the fathers of the fathers of trees, remembering times when they were lords.” – from “The Fellowship of the Ring”
Named for that wild and mysterious forest that bordered The Shire to the East. It was known for being dark and tangled, a largely unexplored, ancient woodland. It is here that the hobbits encounter restless Old Man Willow. Many stories and warnings abounded about this place, as such it was largely left to itself.
And here, a handful of bracelets to honor the shaded wildwoods.
The front of the cuff features a cool green prehnite gemstone with feathery inclusions and dark green rutile thorns, giving the ring a sense of natural depth. It is set behind two hand-sawn leaves patterned with the veining from a real leaf. And around the stone is a hammered branch border.
The bracelet has been oxidized and hand polished for a textured, organic look, and to bring out the lowlights, and accent the lightness of a stone. The cuff band is made from double half-round bands.
The small/medium cuffs measure 5.75” around with a 1” gap, and the medium/large measures 6.75” around with a 1″ gap. They are comfortably adjustable.

“In the Wide World the Wood-elves lingered in the twilight of our Sun and Moon, but loved best the stars; and they wandered in the great forests that grew tall in lands that are now lost. They dwelt most often by the edges of the woods, from which they could escape at times to hunt, or to ride and run over the open lands by moonlight or starlight; and after the coming of Men they took ever more and more to the gloaming and the dusk. Still elves they were and remain, and that is Good People.” – from “The Hobbit”
And here, the simplest earring design. Single cascades of sterling silver leaves in graduated sizes. They feature leaves patterned with the veining from a real leaf. They are very feathery and delicate because they are made with a light gauge of sterling silver. They have been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the lowlights of the leaf pattern.
Susurrus Necklaces
Made to Finish
(with randomly selected stones)

Adjustable between 17-20″
$142 per necklace
“Susurrus” means a “soft rustling or murmuring sound,” as in “a susurrus of leaves” or “the susurrus of the river.”
This adjustable dangle necklace features glowing green prehnite gemstones with feathery inclusions and swirls. And surrounding the stones are small leaves patterned with real leaf print.
This year, I have built this necklace onto a beaded chain so that the leaves and stones have a bit more movement. The chain is left darkly oxidized, so it looks similar to a knobby tree with gently shivering leaves strung along it. The darkness of the stone also accents the lightness of a stones.
Yavanna Necklaces
There will be (30) necklaces available.
Price: $157 per necklace
These prehnites were custom cut by a lapidarist for this design specifically. I wanted the stones to be reminiscent of looking up through a tree on a summer’s day, glowing with dark rutile branches reaching through.
Faceted prehnite to best catch and reflect light, to make the earrings look as though they glowed with their own warm light, like the “young green” light of Laurelin.
Below the stones sway tiny leaves. I chose to put the leaves on varying lengths of tiny chain to taper them to look as though the leaves were spilling towards the ground.
Beleriand Earrings
There will be (20) pairs available
Price: $135 per pair
In the center of Beleriand was the elf kingdom of Doriath. And around this place was a circle of enchantment called the Girdle of Melian, who was the Queen of Beleriand. This border was to prevent entry to all those who had not been granted entrance. The protection of Melian encompasses the forests of Neldoreth as well as the Twilight Meres.
And so, my earrings inspired by that place of protection and secrecy.
Prehnite dewdrops balance at the bottom of a hammered branch border, like the circle of magic forest protection of Melian. Tiny leaves are carefully affixed to the branch, to make it look overgrown and secretive.
They have been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the lowlights of the leaf pattern.
Entwife Rings
There will be (40) rings available
US Sizes ranging from 5 – 11.25
Band measures 4mm wide
Price: $145 per ring
Entwives were female Tree Ents. Dedicated to the Vala Yavanna. In the early days of Arda, they began to move away from their counterparts, the Ents, because they wished to tend small growing things, whereas Ents took care of larger trees of the great forests of Middle Earth. The Entwives traveled east past the great Anduin River, and nurtured vast blooming gardens in the Brown Lands, and later taught agriculture to the early Men of Arda. But during the Second Age, Sauron scorched their region to halt the advance of the Last Aliance against him, and so it was believed that the Entwives were all lost.
And here, my ring dedicated to those beautiful, lithesome beings of Tolkien’s dreams.
A bold statement ring made of sterling silver and features a teardrop shape prehnite with feathery inclusions and thorny rutiles.
A textured ring band made to look like birch bark.
A ruffled, notched edge around the stone to make the ring look like the cross-section of a tree stump.
Fimbrethil Necklace

You will choose your own stone (29 gemstones to choose from)

“Still, I should have liked to see the songs come true about the Entwives. I should dearly have liked to see Fimbrethil again. But there, my friends, songs like trees bear fruit only in their own time and their own way: and sometimes they are withered untimely.” – from “The Two Towers”
This necklace is hand-forged from all sterling silver. It features a light green prehnite gemstone with feathery inclusions and dark green rutiles, giving the pendant a sense of natural depth.
The pendant is suspended between a swath of leaves textured with the patterning from real leaves. I have built the stone in between the leaves to make it look like the leaves grow from the pendant.
It has been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the lowlights of the leaf pattern.
Built into an oxidized sterling silver chain, adjustable between 13 – 16″. (Photos show the necklace being worn clasped at 13″. Pendant measures about 25mm from top to bottom.
These necklaces will be finished to order. Here is the photo where I have numbered all the available gemstones.
There will only be one listing in the shop with a dropdown menu where you can put in your gemstone choice. So you choose the stone you’d like, and I will finish it for you. Production time of about 1-2 weeks, completed in the purchase order.
