The fella and I spent our entire summer in a cabin tucked against the Bigelow preserve in northwestern Maine, and this summer has felt like expanse of freedom. The first thing we did when we got here was to turn off the alarm clocks on our phones, and the summer stretched out like a yawn.
Long verdant days tinged with birdsong, and crisp nights, full of stars and mountain wind.
And coffee has never tasted so good.
This collection took longer than anticipated, but I think for that it benefited. I spent the entire summer gathering up the forests of northern Maine and translating them into a big, earthy collection for you.
Tree of Light Necklaces
There will be (38) necklaces available.
Sizes range from 1.5” – 2.75” from the top of the loops to the bottoms of the pendants
Each are suspended from oxidized sterling silver chains that are adjustable from 17-20”

This necklace is hand-forged from all sterling silver. It features a moss agate gemstone with swirls of green, brown, orange, and white inside. Like a slice of the forest.
One of my very favorite aspects of moss agate is the way in which light alters its appearance, especially when light can pass all the way through, as with these necklaces.
In the shade, the stones can appear murky or dark. And then in the light, all the intricate tendrils become visible, the layers of detritus suspended in the stone, the smoky swirls of stone within stone.
Just like a forest glade that utterly changes the moment the sun breaks from cloud, pours through the trees, and spills onto the mossy floor.
Sawn out of the back of these pendants is a solitary tree of light, standing in a misty forest, a gemstone hemlock tree that will never fade, never wither, never fall. An eternal ephemeral to wear against the heart.
Bordering the stone is a hand-textured border and a few sterling silver pebbles. Around the tree of light, is a hammered path, like a well-trodden deer path.
Forest Whisper Necklace
There will be (7) necklaces available.
Sizes range from 1.5” – 2.25” from the top of the loops to the bottoms of the pendants.
Each are suspended from oxidized sterling silver chains that are adjustable from 17-20”.

These necklaces feature moss agate gemstones with pebble borders and the sterling silver hemlock trees standing amongst shadows on the backs.
A solitary tree standing in a misty forest, a silver hemlock tree that will never fade, never wither, never fall.
An eternal ephemeral to wear against the heart.
These necklaces also feature secret messages under the stones.
Words resting where the agates are clearest so that you can just barely make out the letters.
The inscription reads “Silva Vocat,” which is “The Forest Calls” in Latin.
Like a whisper through the early morning fog that only the wearer will hear.
Wildwood Bracelets
There will be (14) cuff bracelets available.
(10) Small/Medium (measuring 6” around with a 1” gap)
(4) Medium/Large (measuring 7” around with a 1” gap)
Price: $210 per bracelet
This cuff bracelet is hand-forged from all sterling silver.
Moss agate gemstones featuring swirls of green, white, and yellow throughout, giving the cuff a sense of natural depth, are in the center, and earthy brown smokey quartz on either side.
Set atop a lightly hammered, sturdy half-round band, like a deer path trodding around the cuff.
The rims around the gemstones are irregular and textured, made to look like cross sections of a tree.
On the insides of the bands is the inscription “de silva,” which is Latin for “of the forest.
The bracelet has been oxidized and hand polished for a textured, organic look, and to bring out the lowlights of the corners and accent the stones.
On each of the bracelets there is a 1” gap and is easily adjustable.
Mossy Sapling Earrings
There will be (20) pairs of earrings.

Featuring 8mm moss agate gemstones

Smooth, moss agate gemstones are balanced at the bottom of hammered sterling twigs; gently swinging as in a sapling cradle.
I have sawn the backs out of the earrings to illuminate deep green tendrils of the mossy inclusions and brighten the shadows of the agate.
The earrings have been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the lowlights of the texture and accent gemstones.

The Forest Calls Ring
